From 1/25 until 2/8 cdbaby will donate $1 of every CD sold toward Haitian relief. During this two week period, Sleep Out will donate the entire remainder of the sale. Both of our records are for sale at CDbaby. So if you ever felt like buying a physical copy of our album, now would be a great time to do it. Thanks! SO.

Sleep Out featured on Heartphone records comp

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been included on Heartphone Records‘ “Codes For Go” comp along side Graham Smith (Kleenex Girl Wonder - first band I was in!), Mike Downey (Wolfie, New Constitution), hollAnd, Hanaeli (Brian Moss of the Ghost) and many more. The comp features one of the first ever Sleep Out songs “The Ride Home” which was recorded at Graham Smith’s Chicago apartment (before he departed for NYC). Graham’s place was right by a bodega that had delicious chips and homemade spicy salsa. We’d eat a lot of that when I visited. Graham was nice enough to record and play keyboard on one of the very first Sleep Out jams after a chips and salsa session. Enjoy!

Field Music have apparently become the latest victims of the swine flu epidemic. We are sorry to hear of their ill health and wish them a speedy recovery! Luckily, Sleep Out and Canasta’s immune systems remain strong and thusly, the show will go on! The door time has been pushed back slightly and I think Canasta will play at 10pm with Sleep Out at 11pm. We realize this may disappoint a lot of you but we hope you’ll come out anyway.
